  • Returns Policy

WE provide a comprehensive return policy to suit our clients:

  1. Blank/Missing Pages: As the name suggest you can replace your book if it has missing pages e., a jump in page number between two consecutive pages (say from pg.56 to pg.90) or blank pages or some pages printed upside-down. This is a manufacturing defect and we will surely replace your book so that you don’t miss out on any piece of information. This defect is not visible at once in the book but comes to notice only when we read the book, therefore we provide a 30 days window for this defect (calculated from date of delivery). Please note this does not apply to wear and tear of book due to use. Torn pages are not included in this section.
  2. Book different from product detail described on website– This problem needs to be reported within 7 days of receiving the book.
  3. Wrong book delivered- We take utmost care while packing and shipping your orders but if any book is delivered incorrectly then please let us know and we will replace your book. Please report this error within 2 days of receiving the book.

Return shipping guidelines:

      Please ship the book using any courier of your choice that has an online package tracking capabilities. Please note the following for smooth the process of return.

  • A copy of invoice highlighting the items being returned(place it inside the return package)
  • Please write the following details on the return package: Order number, Declaration of item details, value and return reason
  • Please mail the name of courier company and the tracking id immediately to us at support@booknagar.com with your order number.

Please note: if you are returning the book at store then please make sure you get a signed copy of receiving for future records.

  • Return Validation

When we receive your book we will assess the reason for return. if found true then amount will be refunded according to our refund policy.

  • Refund Policy:

We provide refund using two ways:

  1. Replacement
  2. Refund (to your original payment method only)

Refund Processing Guidelines:

  1. In case of return reason 1-Blank/missing pages is validated: the customer is eligible for a free replacement.
  2. In case of return reason 2- Book different from description mentioned on website is validated: the customer is eligible for refund for the full amount.
  3. In case of return reason 3-Wrong book supplied is validated: the customer is eligible for refund for the full amount.
  4. Refund for your order will be done by Booknagar with 2-3 working days.
  5. Refund will be credited to your original payment method with in 3-5 days. 

Please note: Return shipping charges are to be borne by customer.

Any coupon or discount applied on the cart will be deducted from the value of the Book- deducted by using weighted average cost of the book. This also includes Shipping discount.
For eg. 3 Books (Book A-Rs.450, Book B-Rs.350, Book C- Rs.100) with a cumulative value of Rs.900, coupon discount applied Rs.100, if Book A is returned then Rs.50 will be deduced from the value of book & Rs.450 will be refunded. (450/900*100=50)

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

  • Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is only possible before the product is shipped, i.e., awaiting fulfillment status. Please mail us at support@booknagar.com with a cancellation reason and your order will be cancelled.

  • How to initiate returns:

Registered Customers can submit a return request by logging into their customer account on your storefront, finding the order they wish to return and clicking the Return Items link. Next, they will need to specify the Qty To Return, Return Reason, and Return Action. They also have the option to leave a comment.

Guest Customers can use ‘Contact Us’ page or need to mail us their order number, item to return, qty to return, return reason and return action preferred. we will manually initiate a return request for them. Mail at-support@booknagar.com
